Following these Hostess Notes will ensure success for both of us. Sometimes hosting a home party sales event can seem to be a daunting task. You probably wonder what will be your responsibilities? How much food should you prepare? What kind of beverages? How much time will this take?

Relax these notes will take you through all of the necessary steps so that you can enjoy your party.

I am very excited to share Mia Bella candle & bath products with you and your friends. You will be truly surprised with the quality and scents of our gourmet products. We will work together to make your party a great success!

Timeline

Four Weeks Before the Party - If we schedule a party farther than a month away, I will call four weeks before their party to touch base and confirm the date and time.

Two Weeks Before the Party – Invitations are mailed to your guest list – they will be requested to RSVP directly to you.

Two to Three Days Before the Party - I’ll place a confirmation call to you to get a head count and directions.

Approximately One Hour – Parties typically last about one hour but can go longer depending on the number of guests and the type of party.

24 Hours After the Party – the show will close for orders so that guests product can be received quickly.

Hostess Packet

Order Forms – These order forms can be used to make the outside sales process easier. Anyone who is not able to make the party but would like to place an order with these forms. I will bring more forms to the party.

Product Catalogs – Feel free to pass these around to assist in taking any orders before the party. Someone that may not be able to attend the party but is interested in purchasing can do so before hand.

Candle Scent List – Attached is a scent list that describes every scent. This will help when taking outside orders.

Self Addressed Envelope and Guest List Form – Included in your hostess packet you will find a self addressed stamped envelope and Guest List Form. I will send out the invitations on your behalf so it is important that I have the addresses shortly after booking your party so please complete and mail back as soon as possible.

Goals

Hostess – Provide a guest list aiming to have 10 guests in attendance – since only 1/3 of people will likely attend always over invite to ensure your success and mine. Choose a location for the party (usually at home) – that is warm and inviting! (If you are interested in “theme” ideas I can help).

Consultant – I will arrive 15-30 minutes early for setup and have all of the great Mia Bella products on display. I will ensure a FUN and entertaining evening of gourmet scents for your guests to explore and I promise to be done in approximately 60 minutes.
