Clean Burning Candles - Take a Look at Our Burning Timeline
You are ready for clean burning candles if you tried other brands that left you with black stuff around your jars and on your ceiling. Our gourmet soy & vegetable candles are made from a proprietary blend of natural waxes, so that they burn practically soot-free, leaving no black residue!
When you first receive your jar candle the aroma flows through the room as you remove the lid on the jar. It really doesn't matter which scent you choose because all of the fragrances have the same scent quality - strong and consistent. (Note: the 1st candle in the picture below is brand new with 0 hours of burn time.)

Since our candles consist of a soy, vegetable and palm wax blend they burn cooler which means the temperature required to turn the wax to liquid is less. Almost immediately after you light the wicks the candle turns to liquid and because of the cooler composition your candle will have a larger accumulation of liquid as compared to paraffin candles. This is good news!More liquid wax means more a stronger gourmet scent to be released into the air more quickly. The natural wax means there are no carcinogens released from burning. So the bottom line is the candles are safer for you and your family. (Note: the 2nd candle in the picture above has a burn time of 30 hours) Over 120 hours of burn time comes with your jar candle so as you begin to burn the candle enjoy the aroma with each hour. After 4-6 hours of burning you should blow out the flame, let the wax solidify and trim the wicks. This process will give you the maximum burn time. Most Jar Candles burn down to about 1/4 inch remaining in the jar when the flames will put themselves out. Let the wax solidify and consider removing the remaining wax from the jar. The leftover wax is still quality wax and can either be used in an electric. (Note: the 3rd candle in the picture above has about 115 hours of burn time.)

or used to make sachets. Simply grate the clean burning candle wax using a cheese shredder into a powder form. There is literally something for everyone. They even wash up with hot soapy water! You can reuse the glass jar for candy or other creative gifts and if you can't think of any reason to keep them around you can always donate them to your local charity store. (Note: the 4th jar candle is what is left after you have burned your candle completely and removed the 1/4 inch of remaining wax.) Make sure you place your clean burning candles on a level surface to ensure that all of the wax gets distributed evenly while burning.
